The 2025 Vendy Blendy - The who, what, where, when, why.
Each year, at the end of November, deals roll around in stores and across your screens, prepping everyone for the Christmas season. From malls to boutiques- the steals are endless! So, what about a day of deals just for bakers? A place where bakers can shop from the comfort of their own home, from their favorite shops all in one place?
That’s why we created The Vendy Blendy. A deal-lovers' day specifically for the bakers of the world. Let’s cover the who, what, when, where, and why so you can know exactly what to expect for the 5th annual Vendy Blendy come November 28th.

🛍️ What is The Vendy Blendy?
The Vendy Blendy is a spin-off on a concept called a “vendor blender” - an event where vendors from a specific industry come together in one place and host a gathering for their ideal clients in a one-stop shop type vendor hall. So, why don’t we just call it The Vendor Blendor? I have no idea. I think “The Vendy Blendy” was said once on the Baking it Down with Sugar Cookie Marketing Podcast, and it just kinda stuck? We’re weird. It’s hard to say where it began. It’s its 5th year and folks seem to keep sayin’ it so we’re keepin’ it. Anyways, back to all the fun details!
The Vendy Blendy’s main location is in a Facebook group called, you’ll never guess, “The Vendy Blendy (Sugar Cookie Marketing)”... we aren’t great at creative naming, I’ll tell ya that, BUT it’s a fun spot where chaos goes down for 24 hours on the day after Thanksgiving, on November 28th.
Each year, vendors (Vendys) from the baking industry and around the world come together and offer discounts, door prizes, and incentives to get bakers to buy from their shops. Think things like cookie cutters, baking mats, baker shirts, cookie scribes, STLs, software, takes a deep breath, cake pop molds, recipes, meringue powder, sprinkles, class kits, online courses, transfer sheets, packaging, cookie tags, cookie backers- the list truly does go on and on and on aaaand it’ll all be 25% off or more!

Just like most awesome things in life, it’s here for a good time, not a long time, so you’ll be able to shop the deals and steals for just 24 hours, and 💥POOF💥, it’ll be gone. 🤫 We shut down the group and boot everybody out, and we don’t talk about it again until next year. It truly is the best day and only day of the year!
🛍️ Who is The Vendy Blendy for?
The Vendy Blendy is for beginner bakers lookin’ to stock up on good supplies at a great price and the bakers who have been at it for a while lookin’ to add to their line-up and maybe up their business and decorating game!
If you’re just window shoppin’ or if you’re there to stock up on all your 2026 packaging options - this sale is for you. 🚪🎁 The shops all host door prizes, plus the Sugar Cookie Marketing Group, who puts it on, will be giving out free-to-enter BIG Door Prizes all day just for being there- you ain’t gotta purchase one single thing for a chance to win.
🌎 While most of the Vendy's shops are based in the US, we have many that aren’t, and you can score deals from across the world! So don’t think that because you don’t have a US zip code, you can’t win, because you totally can! The big door prizes are for anyone, anywhere, and the shop's door prizes will be noted if they can accommodate folks from all over or just the US specifically.
Many bakers will have their spouses and family join the group so they can get that Christmas gift that won’t end up in the back of the closet or in the donation bin. Plus, if your family joins, they might be able to win a door prize! It’s a straaaaategy, friends.
The Vendy Blendy is for every baker, from beginner to advanced lookin’ to save some cash and stash up on some awesome baking-related goodies.
🛍️ When is The Vendy Blendy
The Vendy Blendy is a 24-hour online event that goes down from midnight on November 27th to midnight on November 28th. It’s exactly 24 hours long and not a minute over. The event is hosted in Eastern Standard Time, so you may need to do a little conversion mathy-math to make sure you’re up and ready to roll for the moment the group doors open!
The Vendy Blendy group is a private group on Facebook, so you’ll have to pend for it until the day of the event. You can even pend right now by heading to “The Vendy Blendy (Sugar Cookie Marketing)” on Facebook right now! Admins and Mods are already in there setting up the group and makin’ sure the pinned posts, discounts, and directions are all set up. A week before the event, the vendors and their assistants will be let into the group so we can cover some group rules, dos and don’ts, as well as have them ready to go as soon as the doors open. At midnight on November 27th, we will start letting anyone pending into the group. It takes roughly 15 minutes to get all the pending accounts in (this is a Facebook thing, and we have to work with what we got), but rest assured- we will get ya in there!
📉 The shops have to offer 25% off (with a few exceptions) or more for 24 hours to participate. They do not, however, have to provide rainchecks on any products that they may run out of or extend their sales past midnight on the 28th. So you’ll wanna make sure your must-haves are first on your list of places to check out.
🛍️ Where is The Vendy Blendy
This event does take place on Facebook, but the shops will let you check out from their individual websites. The Vendy Blendy Facebook group will be a hub that day where you can snag the discount codes, cheer on your favorite shops, and win door prizes all day long.
You’ll access the shops, discount codes, and websites from a pinned Google Sheet within the group on the day of the event. If you’re entertaining family, you can simply get in, snag the sheet, and head on out. While you don’t have to be in the group to shop the discounts, you’ll miss out on the door prizes and giveaways if you aren’t in The Vendy Blendy designated Facebook group. Plus, you’ll be able to interact with the shops and help boost your favorite shop owners by commenting on their posts.
The great part about The Vendy Blendy is that you can request to join the Facebook group now, 📆 and then you’ll pend for it until the day of The Vendy Blendy when we let everyone in. You’ll never guess what we call people who pend for it - yup, you all will be “Pendys” while you “pendy” for “The Vendy Blendy” where you’ll get to “spendy” all day long on “Novemby” 28th. As I said before, we are weird, and the names are just the names now.
👇 To get to The Vendy Blendy group on Facebook, either click the button below or head over to Facebook and type this into the search bar: “The Vendy Blendy (Sugar Cookie Marketing)”. If it doesn’t automatically pop up, make sure you click the “Groups” tab at the top, and it’ll be right there. Click “Join Group” and you can either answer the questions or just pend without answering- everyone, no matter if you answered the group questions or not, will be let into the group on midnight, the 27th of November. We just do the whole question, asking things to cut down on spam accounts.
It’s as easy as that! On November 27th at midnight, the admins open the doors of The Vendy Blendy group and start getting pendies in so they can spendy their hearts out. It does take roughly 15 minutes to get in all the people, so be patient! We are clickin’ like our lives depend on it to get you in!
🛍️ Why is there a Vendy Blendy?
We’ve answered the who, what, where, and when, and now we are at the why of The Vendy Blendy!
The creators of The Vendy Blendy grew up on Black Friday late-night shopping, people watching, and the excitement that came with standing in long lines trying to get the best deals for the holidays. We thought, why not bring that same feeling to bakers!? While you aren’t grabbing your keys and heading to the mall, you are staying awake and putting on your favorite pair of PJs and sitting on the couch shoppin’ the deals and steals all day long.
🧡 There’s nothing more fun than hanging out with your favorite shops and fellow bakers all in one place, high off the hype and runnin’ on fumes while you fight through the online checkout to get your faves at a discount. That’s why we made The Vendy Blendy. It’s 24 hours of overwhelming fun and an insane amount of Facebook notifications that’ll get you ready for the Christmas rush.
Some folks ask why we don’t make it a multi-day event or span it over a week, and lemme tell ya- we are 80’s babies and we grew up with the elbow shoving, mad dashing, and deal-grabbing Black Fridays of old, and that’s what we try to recreate. So, to do it, you gotta join the chaos for 24 hours and throw down on your phone screen to win prizes and snag deals for just 1 single day.
Hosting family and friends? Lock yourself in the bathroom with your phone for a good 2 hours and just tell them that the tater tots aren’t sitting well. Out of town at a family gathering? Ask to walk their family dog so you can scroll through the deals with Fiddo!
